What to expect

BouwBeurs is the complete trade platform for operational construction in the Netherlands and beyond. It is designed as a working fair where you do not only see products but experience how they are applied on site.

The exhibition brings together the entire chain from design to realization. Architects, contractors, developers, carpenters, installers, structural engineers, prefab specialists, wholesalers, manufacturers, policymakers and young talent meet in one place to discuss how to build future-proof housing and buildings.

Full chain overview: Expect more than 600 exhibitors and tens of thousands of trade professionals across six large exhibition halls with close to 60,000 sqm of exhibition space. The layout is theme-driven, so you can navigate by topic instead of searching randomly.

FAQ's

What is BouwBeurs and who can attend?

BouwBeurs is a biennial trade-only exhibition for the operational construction industry, organized by Royal Dutch Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. It is intended for contractors, architects, developers, installers, engineers, prefab specialists, wholesalers and suppliers, and not open to general public.

What makes BouwBeurs different from other building fairs?

The fair combines a full product exhibition with a strong content programme in the Circle Theatre and thematic squares like Wood Pavilion, Circularity Street and Prefab Factory. Visitors value the clear theme-based hall division, live demonstrations and focus on cooperation across the chain rather than isolated product displays.

How do invitation codes work?

Most exhibitors receive a number of free relation codes to invite their customers and partners. You enter the code during online registration on the official live platform and receive a personal badge for free entry. Without a code you can still register with a paid professional ticket.

Is there a conference programme included?

Yes, all visitor tickets include access to the conference tracks covering circular construction, bio-based and healthy building, industrialisation, digitalisation, energy transition and talent. Sessions include keynotes, case studies, technical workshops and innovation pitches, and can be reserved via the official app.

How do I get to Jaarbeurs and where should I stay?

Jaarbeurs is directly next to Utrecht Central Station, so train is the easiest option with a three minute walk from Jaarbeursplein exit. Parking garages are available on site with online pre-booking recommended. For hotels, the Jaarbeurs district offers closest proximity, while city centre hotels provide more atmosphere within short walking distance.
